Drama / Dance and Movement Camp

Introduction
Dates: July 13–17, 2026
Number of participants: 25
Age: 7–13 years
Do you love performing, acting, and being active? Then this is the place for you!
Under the guidance of professional actors and dancers, the children work together to come up with a story, act out scenes, and then use dance to continue telling the story.
You can discover the secrets behind the scenes—what a fly loft, stage floor, or prompter's box is—and even try on period-appropriate costumes, wigs, and accessories.
Dance is not only an experience but also develops attention, balance, and sequencing; improves coordination and a sense of rhythm; aids self-expression; and boosts self-confidence, while children learn to cooperate and express themselves boldly.
You can take part in an exciting, interactive discovery tour at the Gizi Bajor Museum of Acting, where you won't just view the exhibition—you'll dive right into the world of theater!
A day when you, too, can become a real actor!
Camp Activities
At our camp, children can get a glimpse into the magical world of theater, where new experiences and exciting activities await them every day.
In the mornings, two experienced actors work with the children, dividing them into two groups of five, so that everyone receives more attention and has the opportunity to actively participate. Through playful exercises, they develop their speaking skills, self-expression, creativity, and self-confidence.
In the afternoons, movement takes center stage; led by a professional dancer, the children are introduced to the world of stage movement and dance, also in small groups.
During the creative sessions, participants can try their hand at theatrical makeup and make their own props, bringing them even closer to the theatrical experience.
By the end of the camp, we'll put on a group performance where the children can showcase everything they've learned during the week.

This is the place for you!
